Your body. Your altar.
February 25-March 2 2026
Pleasure Church is a full-immersion retreat for women, thems, and femmes with vulvas built around one radical idea:
Your pleasure, your body and your needs are worthy of your full attention and ours.
“Give yourself the gift to come home to yourself. I believe it is the first step toward creating the big, beautiful life you deserve.”-Sonja
DRIPPING WITH GOODNESS
You arrive at a stunning space, greeted warmly by name and shown inside. You enter and take a deep breath, feeling your body settle.
No responsibilities. No expectations.
Dropping your bags (literal and emotional) at the door. You're here to let go of pushing through, obligations, or being needed.
Our signature experiences unfold with a gentle arc across the weekend. Beginning with grounding and safety in your body, we slowly open going deeper into layers of connection and play, ending with a more embodied expression.
There’s an invitation to soften out of performance and into authenticity, awakening your curious self, and expanding what’s possible for you to feel, want, and express.
SIGNATURE EXPERIENCES
Through trauma-informed and somatic-based practices, you will:
Explore your relationship to your body, pleasure, desire, and boundaries
Build trust with your strength and inner knowing
Find your voice, sensation, and aliveness.
And while we do meaningful, tender, deeply transformative work, we don’t take ourselves too seriously at Pleasure Church. There is so much laughter woven throughout the weekend. The kind that leaves your cheeks sore and your belly aching. Playfulness, silliness, inside jokes, dancing in the shared space, unexpected moments of joy and delight - all of it is part of the medicine too.
This holy Pleasure Church journey is deeply held by a skillful group of folks. We have several enthusiastic support people join to help out - from carrying your bags in and pouring your water, to sitting with you in moments when you need deep witnessing, to creating the most delightful environment.
-
There is plenty of spacious free time woven throughout and every activity is optional. Move at your own pace - whether that’s reflective solo time, a hot tub or fire, sleeping in, or connecting with others over walks, sharing stories, and laughter.
-
This is a nude-inclusive space, where your whole self is welcome exactly as you are. You may choose to be naked, in a robe, lingerie, cozy sweats or move fluidly between them throughout your time here. There is no “right” way to inhabit your body in this space; your comfort, autonomy, and choice lead at all times.
What makes this experience unique is not just nudity, but how nudity is held here. In this space, the body is not sexualized, and it is not medicalized. It is not something to be evaluated, improved, performed, or decoded. It is simply met reverently as a living, sensing, emerging expression of your humanness.
Many participants describe the relief of being in a space where they are no longer looking through the lens of “How am I being seen?” or “What does my body mean?” Instead, there is a gradual settling into “This is MY body, and I get to be here IN it.”
This creates a rare kind of freedom where bodies become ordinary again in the best possible way. Where comparison softens. Where self-consciousness loosens. Where presence becomes easier to access.
It is a judgment-free and shame-free environment, carefully tended so that you can explore being seen without the usual layers of performance, apology, or protection.
You are free to be your most honest self here, moment by moment, in how you move, rest, connect, and simply exist in your body.
-
Through this guided practice using gentle, sustained self-touch and deep presence, you’ll learn how to meet your body at the “edge” of sensation — not forcing, fixing, or pushing, but listening. This work supports the release of stored tension and protective patterns in the pelvic and genital tissues, where many of us hold the imprint of past experiences, stress, and boundary violations.
This practice honours the full spectrum of sensation, including discomfort, numbness, emotion, and subtle shifts, trusting that when the body is met with patience and care, it naturally begins to soften, open, and reorganize.
Participants move at their own pace, following their body’s cues. For some, this practice can restore sensation and increase access to pleasure; for others, it may bring emotional release, insight, or a deeper sense of connection to self.
At its core, genital de-armouring is not about changing your body; it’s about learning how to be with it in a way that rebuilds trust, restores feeling, and creates space for both your pain and your pleasure to exist.
A simple way to understand this practice is to think of a child who skins their knee. They don’t need someone to rush in and fix it. What they reach for is a safe adult who stays close, who offers reassuring words and perhaps a bandage but, most importantly, presence. Someone who doesn’t turn away. Someone who doesn’t make it wrong or urgent. Someone who stays until the wave of pain and discomfort naturally softens and passes.
This is the kind of presence we learn to offer ourselves here.
-
One of the most surprisingly transformative experiences is our nude genital gazing practice - always optional - and often far more meaningful and connecting than participants expect.
This is sex re-education. Kat’s like a cartographer - prepared to be mapped. You finally get an in-depth understanding of your own anatomy while shedding shame at the same time.
-
On our final evening, we gather for a guided sensory exploration with a strong emphasis on consent, communication, and choice.… but with the energy of a bunch of grown humans turned loose on a playground. Think: Permission to play in ways you’ve long given up to be called an ‘adult’.
Desire, boundaries, and negotiation happen in real time here, in a way that’s alive, human, and even a little awkward in the best possible way.
Participants often explore things like giving or receiving massage, slow intentional touch, sensory exploration, playful roughhousing, cuddling, hair braiding, wax play, or light impact play (like flogging) — all at a pace that feels right for them. You’re always in choice about what you participate in, and how.
You can engage solo, connect with others, or simply witness. You might find people giggling, trying something new for the first time, or delighting in the simple pleasure of connection and sensation.
There is no pressure to perform or participate in any specific way, your boundaries are honoured, and your autonomy is central.
At its heart, Pleasure Playground is about expanding your capacity for joy, sensation, connection, and self-expression… and remembering that exploration gets to be fun.

Not many of us have had the experience of deep, intimate connecting, healing friendship, where we can be naked and bare it all (literally and figuratively) with friends. Through practicing verbal bold requests or partner holds, we are blurring the lines and rewriting the script of friendship here. This is where life long friendships are created.

Why Pleasure Church?
We put our own spin on the word church. Pleasure Church is a gathering place held with reverence where pleasure, embodiment, and being gloriously human are sacred practices. Here, you are invited to treat yourself as holy and worthy of care. To listen to your body, trust and voice your desires, and remember your inherent value. Your body. Your altar.
THE PEOPLE HOLDING THE SPACE
I’m Kat — Somatic Pleasure Coach, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Retreat Facilitator and Guide.
My work is devoted to helping people reconnect to their bodies, pleasure, and freedom.
For over 20 years, I’ve been creating and facilitating transformative experiences of all kinds — from somatic and sexual wellness workshops, boundary and relational repair work, and long-form healing programs, to retreats, writing circles, nude-inclusive spaces, kink communities, and explorations of pleasure, embodiment, and arousal. I’ve supported hundreds of people through 1:1 coaching and group facilitation.
Pleasure Church was born from these lived experiences, trainings, and years of devotion to this work. It’s a space designed to help people soften, reconnect, laugh deeply, feel fully, and remember themselves again.
My approach is somatic, trauma-aware, relational, playful, and human and deeply informed by my experiences with chronic pain and disability. While we often touch tender places, I believe healing doesn’t only happen when we do the hard work, but when we play, rejoice, and feel joy and possibility.
It is an incredible privilege to be a trusted guide in this work.
I am deeply honoured to hold folks in their most tender moments, to return them home to their body and pleasure, to witness them in their bravest and scariest moments of becoming.
I offer this work because it saved and changed my life, completely. I hope it will offer you the same gifts.
I’m Laura - the Director of Operations at Pleasure Church
I didn’t start out behind the scenes here, I started as a participant. I’ve sat in the circle, done the work, and experienced firsthand what it’s like to be held in this space. As a caregiver who lives with dissociation and burnout, my inner child rejoiced over the deliciousness of my first eggless french toast prepared just for me at the retreat! Now, I get to integrate that insider perspective into how Pleasure Church runs.
For 20 years I’ve been creating the structures, systems, and logistics that make it possible for people to arrive, exhale, and focus on their experience. I bring all my learning from teaching transformative practices, coordinating community events, guiding people care and problem-solving through the messy. I’m that person who cares deeply about the details. Not because I love spreadsheets (okay, maybe a little), but because thoughtful environments create trust and ease. You’ll find me asking: What would help this feel heart-led, smoother, more spacious?
I believe pleasure‑centered transformation deserves generous hospitality, intentional belonging, and well‑tended containers. I’m grateful every day to nurture these spaces.

RETURNINGPleasure Church is incredibly lush on every level. There’s nothing like it!
I have been to every Pleasure Church so far, and Kat is a time witch for sure. Arriving is stepping through a portal to a different world. These weekends seem to stretch across years, packing so much nourishment and goodness into every moment without urgency.
The pampering in and of itself SO worth the investment, but the real MAGIC is the gentle, loving, and fiercely protective support. Whether I'm confronting my fears of trauma surfacing, making bold requests, or getting way more than I bargained for in meeting myself, Kat is a master of holding space for transformation.

NervousFor me attending Pleasure Church was a big edge, like really big.
A few years prior I had left an abusive relationship, and found myself as a single mother with limited support. When I tried to define myself, I realized I had gotten lost along the way. Pleasure Church was a wake up call for my soul.
I was held and seen in ways I’ve never experienced before and with complete strangers. I was able to explore mentally and physically, challenge myself, and access deep joy. Pleasure Church was a turning point for me. I will forever be grateful for this opportunity and meeting badass people who inspire me.
-Maddy
First timEAttending Pleasure Church for the first time was a huge step outside my comfort zone, and a decision that changed me in the most beautiful ways.
As someone with a trauma history who lives in a fat body, I didn’t believe this kind of experience was possible for me. I wasn’t even aware of all the ways I had disconnected myself from my body to survive. Through the practices, I connected with my body and emotions in ways I never had before. Amazingness that’s hard to put into words. Kat, her team, and the community care, notice, and celebrate you for all that you are. What I had been longing for while busy taking care of others.
Give yourself the gift to come home to yourself. I believe it is the first step toward creating the big, beautiful life you deserve.
-Sonja
Pleasure Church is edgy.
It is a bold choice and will likely stretch you. But isn’t that exactly why you’re curious? Like your body already knows there’s something here for you…
You are worthy of more.
More play.
More tenderness.
More impulsiveness. More wild.
More pleasure.PARTICIPANTS RETURN
